The total area of the Safonovo Industrial Park is 130 ha. The site is located in the South of Safonovo in close proximity to the Avangard plant. A road passes through the territory of the Industrial Park, providing access to each land plot available for locating investment site.


All land plots in the territory of the Safonovo Industrial Park have smooth relief. According to the land categories, the land plots are classified as urban lands.


At a distance of 7 km from the Safonovo Industrial Park there is located the М1 Belarus federal highway which is a part of the E30 European route and the AH6 Asian route. The М1 highway is an integral part of the international transport corridor No. 2 Currently, this is the only convenient alternative to the М3 Ukraine federal highway.


Safonovo is one of the largest railway centers in the Smolensk Region.


The nearest operating airports are located in Moscow (Vnukovo) and Kaluga. In Smolensk there are located two airports: Smolensk-Yuzhny and Smolensk-Severny (military airport). There are plans to modernize one of them. The exact dates have not been defined.


To date, the territory of the Industrial Park has been deforested; land planning has been completed, as well as temporary power supply to the construction site and the energy center has been provided. As a result of construction, off-site high-pressure gas networks (7550 m3/h), water supply (685 m3/d) and sewerage networks (685 m3/d) were put into operation. There were built 2 km of the highway. The construction of the main transformer substation PS 110/10 kilowatt with a capacity of 26 MW will be completed in 2020 Existing facilities in the Industrial Park will fully support the resident operations. The Safonovo Industrial Park infrastructure will be fully put into operation in 2021
